First Tableau from "Spettacolo Provolone" (http://www.spetacolo.org/), a Surrealtiy based musical intervention created by Jack Waters and Peter Cramer with DanceTube: The vignettes manifest as dreamlike departures from the television talk show hosted by Cassandra, an intellectually gifted media celebrity. In lieu of a commercial break - or a station identification, the viewer is transported to a primal sphere recalling the origins of civilization as we know it. THE TWIN BIRTH After issuance, self realization, then recognition of the Other. The maternal bovine goddess appears. At her nurturing breasts they draw her into their play, increasingly an aggressively erotic romp that fertilizes and subdues her. Satiated, the twins resume their fraternal revel.
